With nerds in the mainstream on shows like The Big Bang Theory and in the movies with Star Trek remakes and more, it’s now cool to be a nerd. A 2015 survey by YouGov.com proves that the term nerd is no longer an insult, especially with the younger generation.
Some survey participants would actually be happy to be called a nerd. Wil Wheaton told Reader’s Digest in a 2014 interview that “[i]t’s awesome to be a nerd.”
To some people, music can be easily broken down into phrases and notes, until it’s just a single vibration at a specific pitch, manipulated and strung together to create an equation that can be recreated.
