A couple of big summer blockbusters have set their release dates.
First up, Paramount Pictures officially locked down a June 27th, 2014 release date for Michael Bay’s currently filming Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Meanwhile, Skydance and Annapurna Pictures have pushed the release date of the fifth film in the Terminator franchise by a week. Originally slated to be released on June 26th, 2015, the film is now scheduled to be released on July 1st, 2015. This shift will allow the film to get a jump on the Fourth of July holiday weekend during an increasingly crowded 2015 summer movie season.
