Need something to hold you over until the DuckTales reboot airs? Perhaps a fun and relevant song to play on repeat? Something like the DuckTales reboot’s catchy, new theme song? Well, you’re in luck! The new DuckTales opening sequence and updated theme song has been revealed and is a 5 on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale! (See what we did there? “Life is like a hurricane, here in Duck Burg!”) But don’t take our word for it!
In related news, if you’re counting down the days, as we are, until the new DuckTales premiere (starring David Tennant, Doctor Who!), you’ll be thrilled to know there is finally a premiere date to count down to!
The series will premiere with a one-hour TV movie — titled “Woo-oo!,” naturally — on Saturday, Aug. 12, which will air 24 times straight, beginning at midnight. A month later, the show will officially get started with two new episodes debuting Sept. 23 on Disney XD, VOD, and the network’s app.
