Want to be in Rob Letterman’s (Gulliver’s Travels) Goosebumps movie starring Jack Black? Of course you do…and we’ve got your in!
First, a description from a press release for the upcoming movie:
“In Goosebumps, upset about moving from a big city to a small town, teenager Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette) finds a silver lining when he meets the beautiful girl, Hannah (Odeya Rush), living right next door. But every silver lining has a cloud, and Zach’s comes when he learns that Hannah has a mysterious dad who is revealed to be R. L. Stine (Jack Black), the author of the bestselling Goosebumps series. It turns out that there is a reason why Stine is so strange… he is a prisoner of his own imagination – the monsters that his books made famous are real, and Stine protects his readers by keeping them locked up in their books. When Zach unintentionally unleashes the monsters from their manuscripts and they begin to terrorize the town, it’s suddenly up to Stine, Zach, and Hannah to get all of them back in the books where they belong.”
FilmSchoolRejects said, “It’s Jumanji meets the monster cubes of Cabin in the Woods.” …and it’s a comedy! Can we just stop for a second and think about how AWESOME this could be??? “Speaking of which, the meta element that’s been increasingly popular is present and accounted for — the Goosebumps movie isn’t based on the books so much as its about the books and their power. That also means that fans with a favorite book or baddie will most likely see it on screen.” …and we have the chance to be IN this awesomeness. HECK YES! Am I right???
Ken Marino (Veronica Mars) is also in the movie which films in Atlanta, Georgia in June! For June 3rd, we’re looking for people between the ages of 18 and 22 who look like they’re still in high school (sorry, no actual high schoolers)…so if you’ve got a baby face (like we do) and you’re in/near the Atlanta area, we’re looking for you! (EDIT: If you don’t look “young enough”, you can submit to be a teacher.)
All you have to do is email GooseAtl@gmail.com and include 3 pictures of yourself (head, body, profile), age, height, weight and all contact info. Put REFERRAL in the subject box so they’ll know we sent you! If you’re a match, you’ll receive an email back with a form to fill out. Select “BOOK ME PLEASE” for the date of June 3rd, and don’t forget to put JAMES WRIGHT in the “Who referred you?” box! Since you’re reflecting on us, please please please only submit if you fit the description (18-22 but looks younger), and please try to leave a good impression!
