Remember when Troy Baker (Booker from BioShock Infinite) and Courtnee Draper (Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite) dueted “Will the Circle be Unbroken” (the song FROM BioShock Infinite) LIVE…and how it was awesome?!?! Well, that was just the tip of the iceberg! Over Memorial Day weekend, hundreds of con-goers packed into a room to hear Troy Baker talk about his voice-over acting career. What we got instead was a Troy Baker LIVE acoustic concert (and comedy show), VH1 Storytellers style.
Imagine our delight when the crazy talented video game legend Troy Baker (Booker from BioShock Infinite, Joel from The Last of Us, THE JOKER from Arkham Origins, etc.) strolled to the stage with his guitar, turning “the Troy Baker panel” into a Troy Baker concert! As an encore, he made every BioShock fan’s day/week/life when he broke out into “Will the Circle Be Unbroken”, upping the ante even further when he called Courtnee Draper to the stage for a duet, Bioshock Infinite style.
Long story short: the whole concert/panel/comedy show (seriously, the dude is hilarious) was amazing…and definitely the highlight of our Con! Long story long: it turns out that not only is Troy Baker a crazy talented actor, but he’s also an insanely talented musician. We were front and center for the whole show, and now you can be too!
