Could Nicholas Brendon (#XanderHarris, #BuffyTheVampireSlayer) be at Dragon Con?

Final Update 8/30:

On Wednesday, Nicholas Brendon tweeted a confirmation of his appearance at Dragon Con, along with the following info on where to find him for autographs and selfies.

Will Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon – who portrayed lovable dork Xander Harris – be in town for Atlanta’s multimedia/comic convention Dragon Con this Labor Day weekend (September 1st – 4th)? Officially, there have been no announcements by Dragon Con or Brendon, but the latter of the two has been dropping some serious hints on Twitter that cannot be ignored…

Let’s dissect this tweet. As anyone who knows Dragon Con knows… “September 1 – 4” are the dates of the event, and Dragon Con’s logo and namesake are, obviously, a dragon (picture 4 above). What you might not know, however, is that Jasco Games and Lynnvander Inc. (you see their logos in pictures 2 and 3) teamed up to create the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Board Game (picture 1)! Thomas Michael Gofton of Lynnvander Inc. is scheduled as a guest at Dragon Con, as you’ll see on the Dragon Con app, and Nicholas Brendon just joined Jasco Games and Lynnvander Studios at Gen Con as part of the Buffy board game promotion.

But wait, there’s more…

These above tweets alone would definitely get a Buffy/Nicholas Brendon fan thinking and, if that fan’s going to be at Dragon Con, hoping Nicky will be there, too. But if you’re still not convinced, that’s cool: we’ve got even more.

Those replies in contrast to how Brendon replied to fans asking about other conventions taking place that week would definitely lend credence to this…

At the very least, we can deduce that Nicholas Brendon will be in Atlanta during Dragon Con… so we’re calling it a win – even if he’s here “unofficially.”

UPDATED AUGUST 25:

Nicholas Brandon retweeted this article with the above comment.

UPDATED AUGUST 29:

“Off to slay some dragons?! Who is in?   @JascoGames ?”
