Hiroshi Yamauchi–Nintendo’s former President, joining the company in 1949 until he stepped down in 2002–has passed away today at the age of 85 (1927-2013), this occurring only one year after his wife also passed (August 2012). He passed away at Kyoto Hospital where he had previously been admitted with pneumonia.
